About Xneural
Xneural develops next-generation airspace surveillance systems based on distributed radar sensors and cloud-based AI perception. Our mission is to make the lower airspace visible through Drone Detection as a Service deployed on existing telecommunications infrastructure.
We are building a highly scalable radar perception platform capable of detecting, tracking, and classifying airborne objects in complex real-world environments.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Radar Systems Architect to lead the development of advanced imaging radar systems. In this role, you will drive the architecture and implementation of the radar sensing and signal processing chain, from RF concepts and radar waveform design through beamforming, detection, tracking, and generation of high-quality radar data products for AI-based classification.
Key Responsibilities
- Define radar system architectures for long-range and high-resolution sensing applications
- Design and optimize FMCW radar waveforms and signal processing pipelines
- Develop algorithms for beamforming, target detection, tracking, and clutter suppression
- Design phase-coherent multi-channel radar systems and calibration strategies
- Analyze radar performance under challenging environmental and operational conditions
- Support validation and characterization of radar performance in laboratory and field environments
- Drive radar technology strategy and integration with AI-based perception systems
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Signal Processing, or related disciplines
- Several years of experience in imaging radar system development
- Strong understanding of FMCW radar principles and multi-antenna systems
- Experience with radar signal processing, beamforming, detection, and tracking algorithms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed sensing systems
- Knowledge of target classification and AI-based perception
- Experience with embedded radar platforms
